The Role

• Quality control inspection of precision engineered components for safety critical markets

• Experience of ISO9001 standards is essential

• Experience of AS9100 and ISO13485 an advantage

CAD/CAM Programmer/CNC Machine Setter vacancy

The Company

Due to our continued growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer/CNC machine setter. The role offers the chance to work for a reputable growing Precision Engineering Company based at Manvers in Rotherham.

The Role

• Must be able to interpret drawings & models from Solidworks

• The ability to programme offline using Solidcam or equivalent package is a must

• Programme, set and operate 3/4/5 Axis CNC machines using Fanuc Controls

• Check daily design requirements; liaise with production colleagues to ensure targets are met.

• Provide feedback on projects.

• Quality activities and strategy to be followed.

The Person

• Good general standard of education.

• HNC or equivalent engineering qualifications would be desirable.

• Relevant Engineering Qualifications or Engineering apprenticeship.

• Experience of 3/4/5 Axis CNC machine programming, setting and operating.

• Demonstrable experience of using Fanuc controls

Sliding Head Programmer, Setter, Operator                                                                         

The Company

Due to our continued growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced Sliding Head programmer, Setter, Operator. The role offers the chance to work for a reputable growing Precision Engineering Company based at Manvers in Rotherham.                                                                                                                                                                                  

The Role

• Programming, operating, and setting sliding head machines

• Selecting tooling for jobs

• Reading engineering drawings

• Working with a range of materials to tight tolerances

• Setting up and changing machine programs

• Working with both low and high volume precision manufacturing

• Experience with using Star machines is essential

• The ability to check jobs using CMM equipment would be advantageous

The Person

• The ability to work well independently but also be part of a team.

• Flexible and cooperative attitude combined with a strong work ethic.

• The ability to work shift or overtime, if required, to meet deadlines.
